(RG) Hopes of an economic upturn in the fortunes of Barrow-in-Furness were dashed yesterday when Des Brown (The illegitimate brother of Gordon) announced the new design for Britain’s aircraft carriers. With a strong smell of whiskey on his breath he slurred “F*** you its not easy being a Socialist and pretending to like the military, bodyguards pushed him in to a car and sped of with the defence secretary giving a two fingered salute as he vomited out of the window.
