Soldier refused room at hotel

Cpl Tomos Stringer, from Gwynedd, north-west Wales, was turned away from the Metro Hotel in Woking, Surrey.
He had travelled to the area to help with preparations for the funeral of a friend killed in action and needed to stay over night.

(RG) Suffice to say I will never set foot in this unpatriotic discriminatory Hotel and urge as many people as possible to spread the word about this disgraceful incident. I just wonder if this soldier was from an Ethnic background would he have been turned away? I would like to see this case and many others brought to court and the people responsible for this form of discrimination heavily fined or even jailed. If you would like to let them know your feelings on this subject this is their contact number and address. Lets see what action is taken against this Hotel by the Government? Dont hold your breath.

  1. I have done a similar post on Cpl Stringer. Already one of my readers is passing the message on. Keep up the good work, mate.
