British soldier killed in Helmand
A British Army dog handler has been killed in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.
The soldier, from the Royal Army Veterinary Corps, died on Thursday after coming under fire while on routine patrol, the MoD said. Read It Here RIP.
With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
Britain mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.
